Part of the Longreach History

The Jumbuck is part of Longreach History. First built by local graziers. The Jumbuck Motel was the only place to stay in Longreach for many years.

Ideas have been conceived here and history making decisions made. The idea for The Stockmans Hall of Fame was conceived by Hugh Sawry, R. M. Williams and others, right here in our Stockmans bar.

Families are always welcome here at the Jumbuck.

Children can keep themselves amused all day playing around the lovely lawn areas, on the swings or amused in the salt water pool.

Mum and Dad can relax and enjoy a cool drink from the outside bar next to the pool knowing the kids are keeping themselves amused…
